Inzovu is a design agency founded to explore new ways to tackle and solve social problems through design.
We work with corporations, governments, non-profits and startups. We take on projects and build relationships where we believe that we have something valuable to contribute, and politely decline ones that don’t align with what we believe we can achieve. That makes us confident and humble, not picky.
Our best work comes from working with goal-oriented clients that empower us to consider the full breadth of the challenge.

Pragmatic sensibilities, international reach and diverse experience.
We are primarily based in Chicago, but collectively extend across the United States and into Europe and Africa. Team members have been the driving forces behind internationally recognized marketing and design agencies, behavior changing technology and media platforms and digital product and service companies that are changing the world. This brings the deepest, most comprehensive understanding of systems and experiences across industries and approaches to our design and innovation.
Born on a plane somewhere between London and Chicago.
Inzovu was founded by Jason Ulaszek. It was named in honor of the designers that accompanied him to Rwanda as part of a UX for Good design challenge with Aegis Trust and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The designers were enlisted to help find an answer to turning institutions that memorialize genocide into institutions that help end it. It was the designers’ passion, love for the challenge and the intervention created, the Inzovu Curve, that sparked the idea for Inzovu.

The elephant.
Translated from Kinyarwanda, a principal language in Rwanda, Inzovu means elephant. Elephants are smart, have a complex consciousness and are emotionally intelligent. That suits us pretty well.
