Inzovu is Kinyarwandan for “elephant.”
Inzovu’s mission and values are influenced by personal and professional experiences in Rwanda. These experiences continue to shape our approach, operating model, and way of being. We’re purpose-driven through and through.
We work with small- to large-scale businesses, governments, nonprofits, and startups around the world. We design and build experiences that inspire and unlock new possibilities.
How It All Began
Inzovu was founded by Jason Ulaszek. Jason didn’t set out to create a design collective, but plans change when you experience truly life altering moments.
In 2014, Jason and a group of designers traveled to Rwanda as part of a UX for Good design challenge with Aegis Trust and the Kigali Genocide Memorial. The designers were enlisted to help craft solutions to turn institutions that memorialize genocide into institutions that help end it. It was the designers’ passion, love for the challenge, and the intervention created, the Inzovu Curve, that sparked the idea for Inzovu.
Wondering about our name? Inzovu is Kinyarwandan for “elephant.” Elephants are smart, have a complex consciousness, and are emotionally intelligent. That suits us pretty well.
Testimonial
They were part of our team, pushing our thinking and listening intently to the expertise that we all brought to the table. We created the blueprint for a great product and had a lot of fun in the process. I recommend Jason and the team without reservation. In fact, I'm looking for more ways to work with them in the future. Jaya Yoo, Chief Product Officer, LEAP Innovations
